Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead identified transmission infrastructure projects during conceptual, development, and handover-to-construction phases.
  • •Deliver outputs, incentive metrics, and milestones aligned with business targets.
  • •Manage project risk and mitigation to deliver scope safely to cost and programme.
  • •Oversee contract management and ensure contractual and financial governance, including capex forecasting and output projections.
  • •Drive stakeholder engagement and community liaison, supporting planning/consenting and EIA processes while promoting continual improvement in project management practice.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience managing the development of large capital projects through concept, development and pre-construction phases.
  • •Strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures.
  • •Expertise in contract management, including NEC, SPT D&C, JCT and FIDIC.
  • •Knowledge of financial control and forecasting for capital expenditure and output projections.
  • •Thorough knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, with experience leading change management.
