Build and grow profitable merchant client relationships for payment and card processing needs within Consumer Business Banking. Prospect small and medium-sized businesses, consult on appropriate payment solutions (including credit card, ACH, gift cards, and related hardware/software), and coordinate with internal teams to deliver broader banking solutions. Resolve client issues and ensure satisfaction while helping the sales team achieve district or segment goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Acquire new merchant services relationships by prospecting in the assigned territory and through referrals from client-focused teams.
•Consult with prospective businesses to identify and sell payment processing solutions (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH) and related hardware/software.
•Identify additional merchant banking needs and coordinate with KeyBank resources to deliver relevant solutions.
•Prospect small and medium-sized businesses within the assigned region to supplement referrals.
•Comply with KeyBank policies and procedures, resolve client issues, and execute actions to ensure client satisfaction.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 48,000 - 72,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required).
•Minimum of 1 year of payments related experience in a banking environment (required).
•Minimum of 1 year of success in a client-focused environment with aggressive growth and service goals (required).
•Strong financial acumen, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
•Exceptional negotiating and closing skills, with strong communication skills.
