Mathematics | systems and control internship: wafer handler optimization
Eindhoven
Workplace: OnsiteInternshipFunction: Healthcare (Clinical, Medical, Wellness)Education: mastersSkills: ["Analytical","Structured","Proactive","Clear communication"]Contribute to ASML’s Wafer Handler team by developing an optimization approach for robot motion. You’ll review current motion strategies and performance limits, study optimization literature, and translate constraints into a mathematical optimization framework. Then you’ll implement time-optimal motion setpoint algorithms in MATLAB, validate them in simulation, and quantify throughput improvements. This is a master’s thesis internship (4–6 months) with at least 5 days/week, including 3 days on-site in the Netherlands.
