Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and assess concept engineering solutions for transmission projects, including feasibility studies and budget estimates.
  • •Ensure designs comply with legislation, company policies, and operational requirements.
  • •Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout project development.
  • •Monitor industry developments and apply new technologies, equipment, and working methods to improve safety, efficiency, and cost performance.
  • •Review engineering documentation, support accurate project budgets, and mentor engineers while promoting health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering, or HND with significant relevant experience.
  • •Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
  • •Experience in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects.
  • •Strong understanding of transmission network equipment and its operation and maintenance.
  • •Experience applying CDM regulations and Health & Safety best practice within a design environment.
