Job Summary

Lead application packaging delivery and serve as an L3 escalation point for complex packaging and deployment issues. Create and test MSI/MSIX packages using MSI Package Builder, PSADT, and PowerShell, and resolve advanced installation, DLL, and registry conflicts. Collaborate with SCCM/Intune/SCCM teams for software distribution, patch management, and desktop optimization, while implementing App-V for virtualized delivery and supporting Tanium-based endpoint automation and auditing.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead complex application packaging delivery, including MSI/MSIX transformations, and resolve advanced installation problems such as DLL conflicts and registry issues.
•Design automation solutions for packaging and deployment efficiency, creating and testing software packages that comply with organizational standards.
•Mentor junior team members and review packaging quality while keeping an updated library of software packages aligned to security and compliance requirements.
•Implement and manage Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) for virtualized application delivery and ensure seamless end-user integration.
•Collaborate with endpoint management ecosystems (SCCM/Intune as secondary, Tanium as primary) to support deployment, patch cycles, real-time endpoint querying, software audit, and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

•9–12 years of experience in enterprise application packaging and deployment.
•Proven packaging engineering expertise with MSI/MSIX, MSI Package Builder, SCCM, App-V, and VBScript/PSADT and PowerShell scripting.
•Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop management tools, including MSIX packaging and deployment.
•Experience using AdminStudio, InstallShield, and Advanced Installer to build and test software packages.
•Ability to troubleshoot complex packaging issues and work with SCCM/Intune/MECM, while documenting and communicating effectively.
