Key Responsibilities

•Design end-to-end IoT architectures including devices, gateways, edge processing, cloud ingestion, storage, and visualization
•Define device-to-cloud communication patterns (MQTT, HTTP/REST, AMQP) and select appropriate edge/cloud/data technologies
•Develop and integrate IoT device software and edge applications across supported protocols and platforms
•Implement security measures including device identity, authentication, and encryption; manage OTA firmware updates
•Collaborate with hardware, firmware, cloud, and UI teams and document architectures and SOPs

Key Requirements

•4-6 years of hands-on IoT engineering experience
•Experience designing end-to-end IoT architectures covering devices, gateways, edge processing, and cloud ingestion
•Proficiency with industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, CAN, BLE, Zigbee) and offline-first/edge storage
•Experience building IoT backends on Azure IoT Hub / AWS IoT Core / GCP IoT and API design (REST, WebSockets)
•Programming experience in two or more of Python, Node.js, C/C++, Java and knowledge of MQTT/HTTP/REST/AMQP
