Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect civil, electromechanical, and electrical works of the substation according to approved detailed engineering.
  • •Verify the quality of concrete, foundations, gantries, pavements and general civil works.
  • •Control correct installation of GIS modules for high/extra-high voltage, including SF6 gas and vacuum tests.
  • •Verify gantry installation, support structures, cabling, and communication systems.
  • •Monitor grounding network implementation under IEEE 80 and manage NCR root-cause analysis and closure.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in high-voltage substation inspection
  • •Proven experience inspecting GIS equipment installation (220 kV or 500 kV)
  • •Experience in commissioning substations (AT/EAT)
  • •Knowledge of interconnection operator procedures for project approvals
  • •Permanent field residence in a 14×14 on-site regime and good health for field work
