Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute FI syndicated loan strategy across Asia, GCC, CIS, and Africa in coordination with FI coverage and IB origination teams.
  • •Manage market checks, bookrunning, and selectively execute FI syndicated loan transactions with ownership and in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • •Broaden and maintain investor coverage across regions (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia) for primary and secondary market syndications.
  • •Work with origination teams to price and structure loan transactions aligned to market conditions and with consultation from the direct supervisor.
  • •Prepare underwriting memos and liquidity analysis, manage information packs and bookrunning exercises, and execute selective documentation for Mashreq-led transactions.

Key Requirements

  • •10-12+ years of experience with a leading regional or global institution in investment banking or similar work involving syndicated loans.
  • •Strong multi-product investment banking expertise with exposure to syndicated loan transactions, including domestic and international market knowledge.
  • •Strong credit skills and ability to articulate the credit story while identifying market trends and commercially positioning fee revenue opportunities.
  • •Developed presentation and communication skills with a relationship-development mindset and ability to operate effectively as a team player.
  • •Strong investor coverage networking skills with proactive, energetic multitasking ability in a dynamic environment.
