Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver evidence-based neurological care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term management for patients with neurological disorders.
  • •Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system and escalate complex/high-risk cases to tertiary or inpatient management when required.
  • •Provide clinical leadership by contributing to clinical pathways, protocols, and SOPs and supporting operational planning for neurology service coverage across virtual and physical settings.
  • •Maintain clinical quality and safe practice by adhering to clinical governance policies, neurological guidelines, and accreditation requirements, and participating in audits and peer review.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams by participating in MDT discussions, coordinating referrals and care transitions, and educating patients, families, and healthcare providers about neurological conditions and care pathways.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery and active SCFHS professional licensure with compliance to regulatory/credentialing requirements.
  • •Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations (history taking, physical/neurological exam, and review of diagnostic investigations).
  • •Diagnose and manage neurological conditions including headache disorders, epilepsy, cerebrovascular diseases, movement disorders, neuropathies, demyelinating diseases, and neurodegenerative conditions.
  • •Interpret and correlate EEG, MRI, CT, and electrophysiological studies (NCS/EMG) to support clinical decisions.
  • •Provide clinical leadership and mentoring, including evidence-based decision-making and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and patients.
