Key Responsibilities

  • •Dive into Amazon’s control environment to build domain and technical understanding and articulate compliance implications to customers and audit functions.
  • •Develop understanding of regulated compliance requirements and communicate how control activities meet global regulatory obligations.
  • •Liaise with customers, regulators, and auditors to explain control implementation and continuously improve security and compliance practices.
  • •Implement continuous improvements to the security organization and program/project management processes, sharing frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • •Apply knowledge of global information security regulation and policy to articulate customer and control impact and drive alignment to Amazon controls.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of one or more of: big data, DevOps, security, systems administration, software development, or cloud technology experience.
  • •5+ years performing and/or participating in IT audits and assessments of highly technical cloud-based environments.
  • •5+ years working in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, energy, or telecommunications).
  • •1+ industry-recognized security, cloud, or audit certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, Amazon Cloud Practitioner).
  • •Business-level English (verbal and written) and Arabic (verbal), plus a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
