Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coordinate process commissioning and start-up activities, ensuring systems and equipment are installed and operating per design specifications and compliant with GMP and FDA regulations.
  • •Monitor process performance and KPIs (OEE, scrap rates, yields) and implement improvements to achieve quality, efficiency, and sustainability targets.
  • •Identify continuous improvement opportunities (Lean manufacturing) and oversee their implementation.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, quality, SHE) to resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions and process deviations.
  • •Create, update and approve P&ID’s, mass and energy balances, and process specifications, participating in PSAs, HAZOPs and FMEA.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (Chemical and Process Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent)
  • •5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (Food, Pharma, Chemical)
  • •Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus
  • •Previous GMP/food or pharma environment experience
  • •Strong expertise in P&IDs and mass and energy balances
