Key Responsibilities

  • •Read production scheduling sheets and identify required material for the saw operation.
  • •Perform setups, feed material according to specifications, and periodically check equipment to ensure specifications are met.
  • •Offload and stack material/finished product in accordance with established procedures (may cover/label/band components).
  • •Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; complete LOTO as required.
  • •Maintain production records, perform preventive maintenance as specified, and participate in safety/CI programs and meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Setup and operate a single-blade saw per specifications and production scheduling sheets.
  • •Ensure materials meet quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and check compliance of materials and finished products.
  • •Complete pre-shift equipment inspection checklist and report problems or concerns.
  • •High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required; must be at least 18 years old.
  • •Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; basic math working knowledge preferred.
