Key Responsibilities

•Own controls systems end-to-end as technical system owner, including architecture, PLC/HMI development, commissioning, proof of rate, and sustainment handoff.
•Deploy and maintain OT server infrastructure, including Ignition gateways, historians, MQTT brokers, and jump hosts with backup and change-control practices.
•Design and maintain OT networking for production and diagnose protocol, timing, and VLAN segmentation issues using packet-level analysis.
•Develop Ignition Perspective SCADA applications, including views, tag architecture, alarm pipelines, historian configuration, and gateway topology.
•Apply defense-grade OT security practices (air-gapped design, segmentation standards, server hardening, secure remote access) and partner cross-functionally in design reviews.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Information Technology, or a related field.
•6+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
•Strong PLC programming on Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens platforms.
•Proficiency in Ignition SCADA development, including gateway modules such as Tag Historian, Alarm Notification, SQL Bridge, OPC UA, and MQTT components.
•Proficiency across the OT stack (MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP, industrial Ethernet, VLANs) with fluency in packet-level analysis.
