Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop test equipment and systems for the Mechanical Power Conversion (MPC) suite of products.
  • •Plan, research, and engineer mechanical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, and power transmission test equipment for gearbox, turbine starter, fuel pump, and lube/scavenge pump testing.
  • •Create and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation for test equipment designs.
  • •Lead development phases including fabrication, assembly, checkout, verification, validation, commissioning, and system acceptance.
  • •Review and analyze test results against requirements and specifications, recommend modifications, and develop operating/maintenance/calibration requirements for test stands.

Key Requirements

  • •STEM degree (or advanced degree) with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 9+ years without a degree).
  • •Design and develop mechanical test equipment and systems for engineering, qualification, and production testing.
  • •Expertise in mechanical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems.
  • •Proficiency creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • •Experience with AutoCAD (2D drafting/detailing) and ideally 3D CAD modeling with Siemens NX or SolidWorks; ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize complex systems.
