Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform precision inspection (CMM or surface plate) for first article, in-process, and final inspections against drawings/specifications.
  • •Understand GD&T requirements and identify interpretation issues in dimensions and evaluation to requirements.
  • •Create, maintain, verify, retain, and organize CMM programs so they are saved to the current revision.
  • •Work with cross-functional teams to improve precision inspection processes and specifications within and beyond the work center.
  • •Assist engineering with part inspection plans, identify engineering/design/GD&T issues, and suggest drawing changes to improve manufacturability.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of CMM programming experience.
  • •Ability to read and understand GD&T and all drawing criteria, notes, and tolerances.
  • •Ability to select and use the required tools/gauges to inspect feature tolerances to the needed accuracy.
  • •Willingness to work shift hours Sunday to Thursday, 3:00PM to 1:30AM PT, and work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE.
