Key Responsibilities

  • •Design robust, resilient, scalable IT solutions and lead full stack engineers to develop and implement solutions that meet business user requirements.
  • •Continuously enhance and transform systems to improve observability, stability, and scalability.
  • •Establish best practices, guardrails, and engineering standards for safe and effective delivery across the technology estate.
  • •Lead DevSecOps transformation to improve OKRs, including release cadence, incident reduction, and reducing TOIL.
  • •Partner with architecture, SRE, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and support teams to align resilience activities with wider engineering priorities and ensure IT risk and controls requirements are met.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years IT experience in system development, with experience in financial risk management (especially investment banking products and market risk) as a plus.
  • •Ability to translate business needs into clear technical artifacts, including user stories, process flows, system context diagrams, swimlanes, and solution proposals.
  • •Strong enterprise and cloud engineering foundation, including Airflow, Python, Java/Scala, microservices, databases, and APIs.
  • •Hands-on container technology expertise with Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment behavior, failure handling, scaling, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • •Practical delivery and DevOps capability with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible, plus Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, GitHub).
