Job Summary

Senior/Lead/Principal backend engineers are needed to own the hardest cross‑cutting system problems for Agentforce for Supply Chain. You will decompose architectures, design scalable data integration pipelines, and build APIs and observability features across the Super Agent and Integration & Platform teams, enabling enterprise-scale AI-driven supply chain solutions with Data Cloud, Mulesoft, Flow, and other Salesforce ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect and deliver high‑quality, scalable backend code for complex data integration and platform features across the Agentforce for Supply Chain backend.
•Lead technical decision‑making and project execution as an individual contributor for key initiatives.
•Mentor engineers on performance, security, and scalability while maintaining code health and standards.
•Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
•Drive AI‑first engineering practices, build AI‑powered data synchronization workflows, and ensure reliable system context and observability.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of backend engineering (Senior) experience; 5+ years for Lead; 8+ years for Principal
•A related technical degree is required
•Deep expertise in backend engineering: data modeling, DB performance tuning, state management, API design, transactionality, concurrency, fault tolerance, and scaling
•Proven experience designing and maintaining production-grade data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
•Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern language (Java, Python, Go) for platform development
