Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, UI designers, and engineers to iterate on data-driven product ideas.
  • •Improve system design and architecture to ensure reliability, performance, and extensibility.
  • •Develop backend solutions and contribute to end-to-end systems for TikTok LIVE governance.
  • •Work with teams across human-based and machine-based moderation, including penalty center and permission governance tools.
  • •Contribute to team growth by learning, taking on challenges, and sharing expertise and perspectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • •Proficient in at least one coding language, including Go, Java, Python, or C++.
  • •Good grasp of software engineering for building scalable systems.
  • •BA/BS in Computer Science or a related major.
  • •Understanding of concurrency, databases, and message queues; experience with content moderation systems is preferred.
