Lead data engineer driving scalable ETL pipelines and modern data architecture on Azure. Build and operate lakehouse/warehouse analytics systems (real-time and batch), leveraging Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Spark, and Delta Lake. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and implementation of scalable ETL processes and data movement using Azure Data Factory.
•Architect and deliver data solutions in Azure and other cloud platforms, including building pipelines in Azure Data Factory/Synapse/Spark and Delta Lake data.
•Develop and maintain state-of-the-art data pipelines and data models for real-time and batch analytics in lakehouse/warehouse environments.
•Collaborate with business, design, test and development teams to shape data capture and promote data-driven development.
•Provide strong communication and documentation to ensure high-quality data architecture and governance at scale.

Key Requirements

•7+ years experience designing and implementing scalable ETL processes including data movement (Azure Data Factory) and quality tools.
•7+ years experience with modern Big Data Analytics using Data Lake, Spark and Parquet formats.
•7+ years experience building cloud-hosted data systems; Azure highly preferred.
•Strong experience in architecture, design and implementation of data solutions on Azure and/or other cloud platforms; building data pipelines in Azure Data Factory/Synapse Analytics/Spark; Delta Lake data and Azure Data Explorer/Kusto.
•3+ years experience in Power BI reports with extensive data modeling and DAX; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
