Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead clinical laboratory daily supervision aligned with company mission and values.
  • •Serve as General Supervisor with oversight of pre-analytical and analytical operations, including scheduling and troubleshooting.
  • •Manage CLIA direct reports, including licensed and/or unlicensed staff (CLS and Clinical Laboratory Assistants).
  • •Oversee continuous process improvement initiatives covering reagent QC, tech transfer, troubleshooting, training, and validations.
  • •Facilitate cross-team communication and participate in recruiting/hiring to meet sample volume demands.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
  • •Current or previous supervisory experience with direct supervision of lab staff.
  • •Minimum 4-5 years of CLS experience in a clinical setting, preferably molecular and/or high-complexity lab experience.
  • •A current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License meeting CLIA testing personnel requirements (42 CFR part 493).
  • •Hands-on training with manual molecular biology protocols including DNA extraction, PCR, and automated liquid handlers.
