Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure optical test systems and areas are operating properly.
  • •First level triage of test failures by reading and interpreting test logs and telemetry.
  • •Build and validate automated hardware test systems for a production environment.
  • •Fabricate and repair cable harnesses including: crimping, soldering and assembling connectors.
  • •Design and implement assembly fixtures/shop aides to improve manufacturing and test processes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; OR a bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline; 2+ years hands-on manufacturing experience or equivalent.
  • •Experience building and maintaining optical test systems; first-level triage of test failures by reading and interpreting test logs and telemetry.
  • •Proficiency with CAD software (NX, TeamCenter) and programming (Python, C++).
  • •Experience with Linux environment and basic networking (VLANs, namespaces and routing).
  • •Ability to read schematics/engineering drawings; strong communication and teamwork.
