Key Responsibilities

•Ensure optical test systems and areas are operating properly.
•First level triage of test failures by reading and interpreting test logs and telemetry.
•Build and validate automated hardware test systems for a production environment.
•Fabricate and repair cable harnesses including: crimping, soldering and assembling connectors.
•Design and implement assembly fixtures/shop aides to improve manufacturing and test processes.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; OR a bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline; 2+ years hands-on manufacturing experience or equivalent.
•Experience building and maintaining optical test systems; first-level triage of test failures by reading and interpreting test logs and telemetry.
•Proficiency with CAD software (NX, TeamCenter) and programming (Python, C++).
•Experience with Linux environment and basic networking (VLANs, namespaces and routing).
•Ability to read schematics/engineering drawings; strong communication and teamwork.
