Job Summary

Manage the overall day-to-day operations of a tool rental store, driving rental revenue, sales, profitability, and inventory performance. Own store opening/closing, cash handling, shipping and receiving, and merchandising while ensuring compliance with company policies. Lead and supervise assistant store managers, associates, and delivery drivers (if assigned). Provide excellent customer service and grow revenue through marketing and add-on sales, while working with the repair center to improve tool quality and shipment timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute actions to meet store rental revenue, sales, and profitability goals.
•Develop and use store financials to drive store performance, including all phases of store opening/closing.
•Manage inventory planning, merchandising, shipping and receiving, and tool audits to maintain proper stock levels.
•Ensure accurate cash handling, including balancing receipts and making bank deposits, and handle collections as assigned.
•Provide customer service, build customer relationships to drive repeat rentals and sales, and supervise assistant store managers, associates, and delivery drivers (if additional personnel are assigned).

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and four plus years of related experience.
•Fluency in English and Spanish required.
•Ability to supervise the Assistant Store Manager and a Delivery driver (if applicable), including training and resolving issues.
•Strong operations, sales, and customer service focus, including managing receivables and inventory to meet profitability targets.
•Computer proficiency; experience with POS systems is helpful, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
