Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes or VTCs to perform routine production operations on weldments and assemblies.
  • •Learn to verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • •Learn to maintain machines by performing total preventive maintenance (TPM).
  • •Learn to work collaboratively with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel to resolve machining problems.
  • •Obtain operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts.
