Job Summary

Oversee detailed aircraft or aircraft-component maintenance to maintain airworthiness and meet tactical delivery targets. Key Responsibilities

•Supervise detailed aircraft or aircraft-component maintenance and inspections, including resolving faults and maintaining configuration management.
•Delegate and authorize maintenance tasks, ensuring Part 145 activities are performed by suitably qualified, experienced, and authorized personnel.
•Manage Part 145 team compliance with the Part 145 Exposition and related procedures/standards, proposing and implementing compliant changes.
•Promote and apply Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management, and Safety Assurance within the team, including hazard analysis and mitigation.
•Support audits and error-management investigations, document activities and airworthiness records on relevant systems, and coordinate maintenance task support.

Key Requirements

•Assure work is completed in accordance with the SOW/work package and relevant approved procedures, including configuration management and fault resolution.
•Supervise a team to ensure maintenance is undertaken to schedule, escalate issues as required, and report impacts to the wider programme.
•Maintain personal and team task authorisation for working on aircraft/components in line with AMC requirements and ensure staff are sufficiently competent and approved.
•Hold a minimum City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance (or equivalent) and typically 3+ years of experience with required authorisations in place.
