Key Responsibilities

  • •Build governed data pipelines into Snowflake (CDC/ELT), handling schema drift and backfills.
  • •Design the modeled warehouse and semantic layer so metrics like ARR resolve consistently across analysts and agents.
  • •Own data quality and governance: freshness SLAs, drift alerting, lineage, Snowflake RBAC/policies, and masking via Okta groups.
  • •Develop the retrieval layer for agents (chunking strategy, embedding pipelines, index freshness, retrieval evaluation).
  • •Run and roadmap the underlying IT and cloud systems (Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Ravenna; employee lifecycle automation; cloud perimeter controls across AWS/GCP/Azure).

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years at the intersection of data engineering and infrastructure, building pipelines/platforms and being on call for both.
  • •Deep Snowflake experience including RBAC, policy, and cost model for analytical and governed agent substrates.
  • •Real modeling and transformation using dbt (or equivalent), with tested, version-controlled workflows and orchestration (Dagster, Airflow, Prefect).
  • •Strong software fundamentals: Python required, SQL assumed, Go or Bash a plus, and IaC at scale (Pulumi, CDK, CloudFormation).
  • •Hands-on production AI/LLM experience with agents, RAG, tool-calling, and agent identity/tool governance; plus deep AWS experience with working knowledge of GCP and Azure.
