Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect and preserve water samples from groundwater wells and designated monitoring locations according to sampling plans and QA/QC requirements.
  • •Operate and maintain groundwater sampling equipment using approved methods, measure and document field parameters, and interpret data against compliance limits.
  • •Maintain, calibrate, inspect, and decontaminate field equipment to protect sample integrity; troubleshoot pumps/equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • •Plan and prioritize field activities using established sampling schedules, working independently in remote and active areas.
  • •Complete chain-of-custody records, field documentation, and accurate data entry; organize and support graphs, figures, reports, and follow-up actions while following health, safety, and operational requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to safety and ability to consistently follow field, laboratory, and site requirements.
  • •Practical exposure to environmental field sampling, monitoring, laboratory work, or a related technical environment (relevant education in a related field is an asset).
  • •Knowledge of, or ability to learn, water sampling methods, chemical analysis, laboratory procedures, and QA/QC principles.
  • •Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and safely access designated areas across an active industrial property.
