Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical expertise across flight operations engineering, including aircraft performance, weight and balance, MEL, monitoring, manuals, fuel conservation, and operating cost optimisation.
  • •Assess performance-related NOTAMs for accuracy, compliance, and operational support.
  • •Monitor and update the airport database for performance calculations and regulatory requirements, and evaluate flight operations engineering elements of new airports.
  • •Design and validate engine-out procedures and provide specialised technical advice on flight operations engineering matters.
  • •Draft and maintain performance-related documentation, ensure compliance and optimisation of procedures, update Weight and Balance documents and the Departure Control System, assist with MEL maintenance, and support training, fleet, and route evaluations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering (3+ years).
  • •7–9 years of experience with flight operations engineering qualifications.
  • •Experience in an airline or manufacturer Flight Operations Engineering role.
  • •Fluent English; other languages are an advantage.
  • •Boeing 787 knowledge/experience and freighter W&B experience are preferred.
