Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design and analysis of pumping systems and pipeline/network systems for water, slurry, and dewatering applications.
  • •Define pumping strategy, operating scenarios, and surge/overpressure protection philosophy, including brownfield integration and tie-ins.
  • •Perform hydraulic modeling (PumpSim or equivalent) and guide pipe sizing, pressure ratings, pump selection, and system curves.
  • •Provide technical assurance and reviews for key deliverables such as pipeline route feasibility studies, material selection, wall thickness design, and pipeline stress analysis using relevant codes.
  • •Act as Lead Pipeline Engineer on selected projects, controlling design, specifications, costs, hours, quality, and programme; mentor engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •7-16 years of experience in process engineering.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/civil engineering; preferred master’s degree; PG diploma/certificate in piping engineering is an asset.
  • •Strong experience in pumping systems and pipeline networks, including hydraulic design and system analysis.
  • •Ability to develop pipeline design documentation and specifications (e.g., P&IDs/PFDs, material balances, hydraulic calculations).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; experience coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders and ability to work with minimal supervision.
