Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively identify, source, and cultivate M&A targets, JV partners, co-investment opportunities, and strategic alliances across Southeast Asia.
  • •Lead all phases of transaction execution, including screening, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, and closing.
  • •Design and evaluate structured finance and investment structures, including asset-backed facilities, project finance arrangements, GP/LP vehicles, earnouts, and hybrid equity/debt instruments.
  • •Support engagement with sovereign wealth funds, government-linked entities, development finance institutions, and institutional investors.
  • •Prepare board-quality investment memos, deal approval packages, and pipeline updates; partner on post-close integration planning and track value creation milestones.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3–8 years of post-undergraduate experience in investment banking (M&A or leveraged finance), private equity/growth equity, structured finance, infrastructure finance, or corporate development.
  • •Buy-side experience strongly preferred (private equity, infrastructure funds, sovereign wealth fund direct investing, or project finance platforms).
  • •Demonstrated deal execution with at least 2–3 closed transactions involving substantive modeling, diligence, negotiation, or structuring.
  • •Advanced financial modeling skills including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, project finance models, and comparable analysis.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline; MBA or CFA is a plus.
