Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, and implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP solutions for enterprise customers, including analysis, roadmaps, and transition to operations.
  • •Conceive and implement sensitivity labels, data classification (manual and automated), encryption, RMS templates, BYOK/DKE, OME, and audit log retention.
  • •Build risk-based DLP lifecycles with policies, rules, operating processes, and incident response; integrate Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • •Capture data-protection and business requirements, including business case, taxonomy, ownership and governance models, and rollout roadmaps.
  • •Lead workstreams, moderate customer workshops, and present decision papers and results up to C-level, with mentoring/quality assurance based on seniority.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP in Microsoft security/compliance projects (3–4 years as Consultant to 7+ years as Senior/Architect).
  • •Strong expertise with sensitivity labels, data classification (manual and automated), encryption, RMS templates, BYOK/DKE, OME, and audit log retention.
  • •Experience building risk-based DLP lifecycles (policies, rules, operating processes) and incident response, including integration with Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • •Knowledge of insider risk approaches and eDiscovery processes in a Microsoft Purview context.
  • •Relevant education/study (e.g., business/informatics) and (nice-to-have) familiarity with certifications such as SC-400, SC-100, MS-900/AZ-900, CIPP, CISSP, or CCSP.
