Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the maintenance of equipment and services across the estate, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance.
  • •Through training and placements, carry out scheduled checks on equipment and systems, finding and fixing faults and helping with servicing tasks.
  • •Assist fully qualified Maintenance Craftspersons with minor repair work and installations using relevant tools and equipment.
  • •Act as a professional representative of the University, maintaining safe working practices and following University processes and procedures.
  • •Provide front-facing customer care, maintain effective customer relations, and record essential job information as needed (including using tablets/apps).

Key Requirements
