Key Responsibilities

  • •Design portions of engineering solutions for low to moderately complex products, systems, software, and solutions using established engineering principles and guidelines while ensuring cost effectiveness.
  • •Collaborate with internal and outsourced project partners and participate as a project team member to ensure developed products and solutions are reliable and high quality.
  • •Develop and implement test plans and parameters for existing designs, validating mechanical, electrical, software, and other engineering specifications.
  • •Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency, identify problems and deficiencies, and take corrective action.
  • •Optimize concepts and designs using analytical and physical assessments to improve efficiency and quality, and deliver designs and program deliverables on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or commensurate experience.
  • •Typically 2-4 years of work experience in engineering design or related engineering design tools and software packages, or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
  • •Ability to create and implement test plans for existing designs and validate mechanical, electrical, software, and other specifications and requirements.
  • •Experience applying engineering principles and professional judgment to resolve moderate-scope issues following company policies and procedures.
  • •Product certification and/or Six Sigma certification are preferred.
