Key Responsibilities

•Read work schedules and determine the sequence of operations.
•Operate the plant according to the production schedule using appropriate materials.
•Monitor material operations to ensure mix quality and keep control house/yard facilities clean daily.
•Perform basic maintenance and service on plant equipment, or refer major problems to the supervisor.
•Enter production information into computer systems and keep time and material records.

Key Requirements

•Two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write correspondences and memos.
•Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
•Knowledge of inventory/order processing systems and the use of job-specific computer systems for ticketing and two-way radio communications.
