Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver and unload concrete to job sites according to dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
  • •Work safely and maintain the vehicle and work area in a clean, orderly condition, including rinsing the drum before and after deliveries.
  • •Check delivery tickets for special instructions, complete required documentation, and communicate with the Dispatcher or Plant Manager as needed.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.
  • •Collect customer money, record transactions, write ticket details, and respond to basic customer questions related to product/concrete instructions.

Key Requirements

  • •Must possess a valid minimum Class B CDL.
  • •DOT medical card and a state issued commercial driver license are required (acquire and maintain).

  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and tickets.
  • •Ability to climb ladders, handle up to 50 pounds frequently, and safely perform required physical tasks.
