Job Summary

Accountable for manufacturing-related activities in a production or depot-manufacturing environment, reporting to a Value Stream Leader at RTX’s Tucson, AZ site. You’ll define operational schedules and priorities, collaborate with cross-functional support employees for continuous line-flow or end-item production, and ensure production quality and delivery on time at or below cost targets. The role requires significant time in and around factory areas and readiness for extended hours when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Define operational schedules, priorities, and goals to enable continuous manufacturing of line-flow or end-item products.
•Manage scheduling, quality, and cost performance for assigned work areas.
•Ensure required facilities, processes, equipment, and training support a safe working environment.
•Interface with support employees (planning, engineering, quality, and other Value Stream Leaders) across shifts to coordinate manufacturing workflow.
•Ensure compliance with operating procedures, organizational directives, and work instructions, while addressing productivity, quality, and delivery requirements.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
•Manufacturing or operations experience.
•Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application; ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.
•Material Resource Planning experience within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or like system (e.g., Expected at Complete, IMDS, TMSS).
•Knowledge of production control concepts including WIP management and TAKT.
