Job Summary

Scale ML experimentation tooling and label quality for Fincrime, KYC, and Customer Support squads within the Servicing Data Science tribe. Own roadmap, delivery, onboarding, and stakeholder management while building ML tooling and governance, improving ML workflows, and driving proof-of-concepts across multiple squads. Collaborate on software engineering, MLOps, and data engineering needs—from CI/CD and monitoring to AWS infrastructure and terabyte-scale distributed processing—while mentoring others in experiment design.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the evolution of ML experimentation tooling and label quality for Fincrime and other squads in Servicing.
•Co-own stakeholder management, roadmap, delivery, and onboarding for cross-squad ML initiatives.
•Drive proof-of-concepts of new methodologies and tooling bridging gaps across two or more teams.
•Contribute across software engineering, MLOps, and data engineering, including testing/CI/CD, monitoring/alerting, disaster recovery, Terraform and AWS infrastructure, and terabyte-scale distributed processing.
•Prove the value of new algorithms/methodologies, estimate and measure impact, and mentor junior members in experiment design.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 90,500 - 127,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience with end-to-end distributed data systems, especially ML-centric systems.
•Experience as a Data Scientist in large-scale product teams or businesses.
•Excellent Python and software engineering knowledge; able to work with Java if needed and collaborate with engineers on services.
•Strong ability to solve problems for Data Scientists, working independently across cross-functional and cross-team environments.
•Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders using data and statistical analysis, and manage project stakeholders.
