Key Responsibilities

  • •Support regulatory horizon scanning and implementation of existing and upcoming requirements (e.g., PSD3/PSR), assessing impact and advising first-line teams.
  • •Independently partner with Product, Legal, and Product Compliance teams to ensure new products, features, and market expansions are compliant by design.
  • •Draft, update, and roll out Wise Europe regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • •Ensure transparent regulator engagement and complete notification obligations within scope, including assessments for major incident reportability and new product notifications.
  • •Proactively identify compliance gaps, propose pragmatic redress, collaborate on remediation, and design/deliver training to raise regulatory compliance awareness.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 3,750 - 5,100 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in a second-line compliance function at an authorized payment institution, e-money institution, or similar financial institution.
  • •Strong understanding of the payments regulatory ecosystem, with ability to quickly learn and interpret Belgian and European prudential laws.
  • •Comfort operating as a generalist across different compliance domains in an ambiguous environment.
  • •Ability to clearly translate complex legal requirements into practical guidance for product and engineering teams.
  • •Deep alignment with regulatory compliance principles and the mission of fast, low-cost borderless money.
