Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and lead a team of Propulsion Engineers to prioritize and execute tasks supporting engine fleet operations and maintenance.
  • •Provide cost-effective engineering technical support for Etihad’s engine fleet and ensure compliance with OEM and airworthiness requirements.
  • •Provide program management for outsourced maintenance and engineering activities; liaise with engine/APU/component OEMs and maintenance providers.
  • •Manage investigations of in-service events and technical problems, implement corrective action programs, and improve engine/APU and component reliability.
  • •Manage engine/APU and component modification standards and implementation; assess Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and associated EOs; approve work-scopes and manage shop visits, lease returns, removals, and spare availability.

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualifications meeting eligibility for chartered engineer membership (e.g., Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s) or an ICAO Type II AME License holder with approvals.
  • •Minimum 10 years providing in-service technical support for aircraft engines, with at least two of Etihad’s engine types.
  • •Ability to lead and manage a team of propulsion engineers directing priorities to support operations and maintenance.
  • •Experience overseeing technical compliance with OEM requirements, airworthiness authorities, and continuing airworthiness requirements.
  • •Experience reviewing service issues, recommending corrective actions, and coordinating with maintenance providers and OEMs.
