Key Responsibilities

  • •Evolve backend services supporting critical pricing flows, anomalies, and item classification with availability, resilience, and performance focus.
  • •Design synchronous and asynchronous contracts and data/event processing flows between services while ensuring compatibility, idempotency, traceability, and failure handling.
  • •Solve distributed systems challenges including concurrency, latency, availability, consistency, and cost.
  • •Strengthen observability using metrics, logs, and alerts; participate in on-call rotations, incidents, sensitive migrations, and decisions on critical services.
  • •Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and support gradual rollouts with multiple consumers; provide technical input via design/code reviews and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid backend development experience and production operations for distributed systems.
  • •Ability to design APIs, event-driven integrations, and persistence models, reasoning about concurrency, consistency, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • •Strong software engineering fundamentals: modular design, testing, observability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • •Demonstrable knowledge and experience with generative AI tools.
  • •Strong problem-solving mindset: form hypotheses, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver solutions with real impact.
