Job Summary

Implement and advance safety, training, and environmental health and safety programs for the Newport Industrial Complex. Lead safety initiatives including Behavior-Based Safety (BBS), close-call/injury reporting, safety orientations, and development of JSA/HECPs. Ensure compliance with state/federal environmental and OSHA regulations, run weekly/monthly safety meetings, and manage hazard and incident tracking through Intelex to drive corrective actions and R3 residual risk reduction.

•Enhance safety awareness and employee motivation and maintain compliance with applicable environmental and OSHA regulations.
•Maintain safety documentation, lead BBS programs, and support safety pillar/steering team activities.
•Develop and conduct weekly and monthly safety meetings; conduct safety training for current and new employees and maintain records.
•Serve as owner of safety management tracking in Intelex, tracking hazards/near misses/observations/incidents and closing action items.
•Lead R3 residual risk reduction and wastewater SOPs (daily/weekly/monthly) to support environmental compliance.

Key Requirements
