Key Responsibilities

  • •Own data workstreams end-to-end, from ingestion of source data through Foundry transforms, ontology modeling, and delivery to dashboards/tools.
  • •Build and maintain Foundry pipelines, data models, and data quality checks across the full data pipeline.
  • •Create internal-facing dashboards and analytics products that serve flight test engineers, middle management, and leadership.
  • •Write small production services (Python or Go) for integrations such as webhooks, bridges, and daemons, and coordinate when work belongs to the broader SWE organization.
  • •Partner with product-line T&E leads, software engineering, and infrastructure teams on data contracts, ingestion patterns, and shared priorities; write design docs and RFCs to align stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of data engineering, platform engineering, or equivalent experience owning data systems end-to-end.
  • •Strong Python and SQL with DataFrame-based transform experience (Pandas, PySpark, Polars, or similar).
  • •Experience owning a data pipeline or integration end-to-end from ingestion through to a downstream consumer (dashboard, service, or model).
  • •Hands-on experience integrating with REST APIs, webhooks, or third-party data sources.
  • •Experience building internal-facing dashboards/analytics products (Streamlit, Plotly Dash, Workshop, Tableau, Looker, or similar) and owning the full stack from data to UI.
