Job Summary

Lead the development of technical education solutions for Global Services, partners, and customers. Create engaging, hands-on instructor-led and virtual programs that build technical expertise and consulting skills, and improve customer understanding to drive product adoption. Design enablement strategies and training catalogs, manage end-to-end learning projects, expand customer education offerings to grow revenue, and ensure training materials meet technical accuracy and brand standards while using AI to accelerate content creation.

Key Responsibilities

•Design practical enablement solutions within Akamai’s Cloud, Security, and Delivery products, including enablement strategies and training catalogs.
•Deliver instructor-led training, virtual classrooms, and vendor-led programs globally, serving as primary point of contact for senior leadership on education programs.
•Manage the full lifecycle of scalable learning solutions from proposals to launch and collaborate to close educational gaps.
•Drive revenue growth by expanding customer educational product line offerings.
•Ensure training materials meet Akamai technical accuracy and brand standards, leveraging AI tools to accelerate drafting, lab generation, and quiz creation.

Key Requirements

•Experience in IT and technical pre-sales, sales engineering, consulting, or customer-facing roles delivering technical products or services.
•Expertise in Internet technologies, protocols, and tools such as DNS and HTTP/HTTPS, plus experience with web design and training platforms.
•Experience with Cloud, Content Delivery Networks, Web Performance, and/or Security.
•Strong business and technical acumen, with ability to capture business drivers and success metrics.
•Experience with technology learning and development organizations or projects, along with exceptional interpersonal skills.
