Job Summary

Lead delivery of a major, multi-year capital investment programme transforming a nationally significant infrastructure asset. Oversee schedules, interfaces, cost, variations, contracts, and risk, and develop the Project Execution Plan aligned to contracting standards. Manage and coach a team of Project Managers, coordinate design consultants and external providers, run design reviews, chair progress and risk discussions, and drive change control and performance reporting within an aviation-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and monitor project delivery across schedule, interfaces, cost, variations, contracts, and risk, coordinating with stakeholders as needed.
•Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan aligned to contracting entity standards, governance, and delivery methodologies.
•Lead and manage Project Managers, ensuring delivery against cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives with appropriate controls and performance measures.
•Coordinate project interfaces and external delivery teams, including design consultants; chair design review meetings and manage design acceptance and impacts.
•Maintain the risk register, manage change control, and prepare monthly performance reports while collaborating with programme leadership to resolve delivery issues.

Key Requirements

•7+ years delivering construction and infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle, including aviation and/or similarly complex environments.
•Experience working in a regulated environment with strong focus on operational, safety, and stakeholder requirements.
•Demonstrated site-based delivery experience, including practical knowledge of on-site construction management alongside office responsibilities.
•Proven experience developing and documenting project management best practices, policies, procedures, and delivery standards.
•Previous experience using the NEC Suite of Contracts as a client, contractor, or subcontractor.
