Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the AIP on-site point of contact for Supervisor Detention and Deportation Officer (SDDO) and ICE contract concerns, addressing compliance issues.
  • •Provide supervision, guidance, and on-the-job training to detention staff to strengthen performance and critical responsibilities.
  • •Oversee staffing coverage, manage call-offs, conduct post checks and briefings, and ensure minimum manning standards are met.
  • •Maintain safe and secure detention facility operations, including detainee counts, responding to incidents, and assisting staff during disturbances.
  • •Conduct daily quality assurance inspections, document findings and incidents, ensure proper timekeeping and break schedules, and report emergencies to COR, ICE, and AIP management.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • •Minimum one year of experience as a detention officer and two years of successful field supervision experience in law enforcement, guard service, or security supervisory roles.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance, and pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • •Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check, meet medical requirements, be at least 21 years old, and hold a valid state driver’s license.
