Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop innovative solutions for the busway product line, supporting pre-launch research through manufacturing launch.
  • •Perform CAD solid modeling, design simulation, create product specifications/drawing packages/BOM/ECO, and conduct product testing and design validation.
  • •Design parts and assemblies across multiple component types (sheet metal, plastics, mechanisms, electrical/wiring, packaging).
  • •Participate in project work using ProLaunch and engage with multi-disciplined teams to achieve Pro-Launch process goals.
  • •Support Voice of the Customer (VOC) research and maintain or upgrade existing products through MOL and VAVE activities, including assisting with third-party certifications and test reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • •Willing to relocate to the Hodges, SC site for the co-op (relocation assistance provided for candidates outside a 50-mile radius).
  • •Skills in CAD solid modeling (CAD/SolidWorks/Inventor) and ability to develop detailed 2D drawings with tolerance controls and manage engineering documents via EC(O) process.
  • •Experience performing engineering tests and analyzing results; contribute to product development projects with accountability and strong communication.
