Key Responsibilities

  • •Allocate supervisor manpower for maintenance activities, flight line duties, and EOR/Hit Team duties to support RSAF operational readiness.
  • •Manage maintenance execution by demanding aircraft spares, raising TPRFs and TQs for anomalies, and confirming job completion to the Rectification Controller/Maintenance Advisor.
  • •Conduct PMDS downloads and assess arisings, including SHM and EHM analysis, and ensure adherence to approved data and tool control procedures.
  • •Lead supervisory activities including thorough shift handovers, senior supervisory inspections/checks, and review of approved-data changes affecting the trade.
  • •Provide advice and guidance to assigned supervisors, support QA/higher HQ reporting, and drive continuous improvement for operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to HNC level (or equivalent) or have relevant experience supported by formal, recorded workplace-applied related training.
  • •Completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship in industry/military or similar qualification in aircraft systems.
  • •Previous Typhoon Mechanical Systems experience with a formal “Q” annotation.
  • •Extensive post-qualification experience providing military fast-jet maintenance support at Senior Supervisor level in an operational military flying environment, with ability to manage engineering personnel.
  • •Good interpersonal skills to coordinate activities and communicate, influence, and direct decision-making, including fluent English.
