Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment and deliver technical solutions to customers.
  • •Perform less conventional complex engineering assignments including equipment/product design, material testing, process studies, or research investigations.
  • •Troubleshoot and evaluate systems using proficiency in test equipment operation, protective relays, power quality measurements, and protection & control design.
  • •Generate timely and accurate service reports on work performed, product performance, and warranties.
  • •Maintain compliance with safety program requirements, including customer background and drug screenings, while working variable hours and traveling as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent or higher with at least 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience, or completion of an accredited trade school/program with 5+ years evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems.
  • •No relocation offered; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of Tukwila, WA or Wenatchee, WA.
  • •A current, unrestricted driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record; must comply with Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy.
  • •Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Preferred: experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution/control systems, including power quality measurements, analysis, and protective relays (plus NICET/NETA and professional licensing).
