Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate an asphalt paver to spread and level asphaltic concrete on subgrade highway and related surfaces.
  • •Control the paving machine using hand or foot levers and perform normal operating adjustments.
  • •Oil/grease and service the equipment, and install or remove screed extensions and associated accessories.
  • •Perform related duties such as guiding and directing dump trucks while backing to the machine hopper.
  • •Partner with other crewmembers to pave roadways and assist other positions to complete job tasks.
