Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify quality of workmanship and airworthiness of aircraft and aircraft components completed by maintenance personnel.
  • •Inspect materials, parts, subassemblies, and perform initial inspections at maintenance bases.
  • •Perform overhaul inspections of aircraft (including power plant) where maintenance occurs.
  • •Conduct inspections/checks including Non-destructive Testing (NDT) and borescope inspections.
  • •Sign mechanical flight releases and complete inspection-related forms using technical manuals and electronic systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Be qualified in the basic Classification and have at least 1 year of verifiable job-related work experience.
  • •Meet the medical requirement for Inspector as determined by the company-authorized medical facility and annually thereafter.
  • •Perform non-destructive testing when required and demonstrate minimum color perception requirements.
  • •Pass FAA criminal background checks for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
  • •Secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
