Job Summary

Manage and grow Insurance Premium Finance (IPF) credit relationships by partnering with Relationship Managers and internal teams. Prepare accurate, timely, and conclusive credit memos, perform due diligence, and contribute to credit approval discussions. Support covenant compliance and collateral valuation updates, coordinate underwriting and credit document quality with Credit Risk Management, and assist with loan structuring while staying aligned with U.S. Bank credit policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Fulfill underwriting requirements and produce accurate, timely, and conclusive credit memos.
•Perform due diligence on prospective borrowers and new opportunities, supporting initial reviews.
•Coordinate work with Credit Risk Management and other groups to ensure consistent credit document quality and streamlined workflows.
•Participate in credit approval discussions and joint client calls with relationship managers, clients, and advisors.
•Perform covenant compliance and collateral valuation updates, and support review of credit agreements and loan structuring to minimize undue bank risk.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
•Three to five years of relevant experience.
•Thorough credit underwriting knowledge with experience in complex individual underwriting.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
